Malara's degree of artistic sculpting and painting abilities are unsurpassed. I've seen so called "artists" attempt to create sculptures utilizing casting techniques, but the quality of their finished work falls very short to that of Malara's. I've uncovered some "copycats" using far inferior products creating finished works that were not cleaned, repaired or sculpted properly -- revealing no clean detail. Some "artists" sculptures I've seen were thickly and sickly painted. One "artist" even painted all of his poor quilty work the same hideous color! These so called "artists" are nothing more then opportunists; some connected in some way to the film industry -- some more then likely met or heard Malara speak at a lecture, or trade show, or read Joseph Malara's literature and "copied" his process -- but no one can copy Malara's product, techniques, Malara's DISCERNING EYE toward meticulous detail, or Malara's God given telant! I've even seen an "artist" who painted African American hands -- white! Many "artists" also use plaster or other inferior mediums as a finish product! Malara's solid stone sculptures are as durable as concrete - will last forever!

A friend of Malara's once asked Malara, "If a world boxing champion instructs and personally trains 100 fighters, why can't they all become champions themselves?" Malara's answer -- "God given talent!" Malara has personally trained students, utilizing Malara's very own exclusive products, exclusive sculpting techniques, utilizing Malara's specialized tools, but none can come close to Malara's God given talent!

Malara has created countless special effects -- hand sculptures with objects -- loved ones holding hands -- family members holding hands (up to 10 at one time!) -- stone body silhouettes -- even -- 3 dimensional heads with glass eyes!

Melissa will soon be 11 years old -- and yes -- the 45 minute old sculptures include -- in complete detail -- her hand, finger, and footprints -- identifying her as much today as they did that very first day -- and her sculptures will always identify her! Malara's collection of sculptures span over a decade of Malara's time. His early works he admits were not up to par. It wasn't until early 1994 when Malara launched his Museum efforts and started creating his works of celebrities. Malara than refined his techniques to what they've become today -- far superior than any other artist creating in any similar way! In fact the best "artists" of today creating as Malara does -- haven't come close to Malara's quality level -- of 10 years ago! Malara has countless heartwarming letters of sincere gratitude from his subjects and a few humorous ones -- like Robert Townsend's letter! But, they're all GOOD!

If you were to ask Malara "How have you become so successful?" he replies "I am a blessed men," and he truly is! Malara has only created his works of art utilizing his genus with subjects he respects and admires. This seems to be a two-way-street with Malara's subjects -- which all speak very highly of Joseph Malara, and are sincerly honored to have a moment of time immortalized in stone by Malara! Malara's subjects admire Malara's work immensely and proudly display their sculptures in their home. Malara is also the Founder and registered trade mark owner of his exclusive art he simply calls "Hands of Stone."

Malara has worked hard to open the doors -- concerning "The Hands of Stone International Museum of the Humanities and the Arts Inc." Malara continues to contribute his time taking on many expences toward this worth while cause. Malara is willing to lend his exclusive talents, techniques and his discerning eye -- in the creation of a major part of the future Musem's works. These efforts have brought Malara together with many world renown celebrities, some Malara has befriended -- all Malara has respected.
